  Today I’ll be talking about pictures that are great memories from GLPS. From my first day of GLPS to this in half way point. It has been really fun and I took pictures of those memories.

             
           This is the picture of our dormitory in GLPS camp. Dormitory is where we sleep, study, eat and play. Our dorm is the best cause it’s where we rest so it’s like our home. In dormitory we have 6 people in one room and it’s divided in to 2 room and 3 people for each. My roommates are really funny and nice. We practice dance in the room or talk about what we did in class eating snacks.

             This is the picture of my desk in the dormitory. Above our desk it’s a bed that we sleep at. I like my desk because it’s big which I think it’s good for studying. And plus I always had wanted to have a desk like this which is attached to a bed. My friends says my sit is the best because when the PA or TA comes in during 1^st self study time they can’t see me because I’m part covered to the door.

             
This is the picture of my 2^nd and 3^rd week schedule. I’m in class 17 and the ones that are highlighted are what I have for 2 weeks. We do history, mock trial, math, writing, P.E, Golf. My favorite classes are P.E, history, mock trial, and writing. But I don’t like golf even thought I always do golf with my parents in Saudi.

             
This picture is the rule for our room 809.We made this to make our room friendlier with laughs and a good friendship and of course no fighting. I am trying to do as what our rule says and my roommates are helping each other to do this.

             
This is the picture show the golf court. The golf course is really nice but I don’t like playing golf that much. And the bad thing about the golf course is that it’s too far away it’s about 20 minutes.

. He is in Harvard now and at the time we took picture it was his last day for the GLPS. Because some TAs and PAs had signed up for it only at first 2 week and he was one of them.

      
  This was taken after the interview about Harvard and how he studied with Kim Hyeong Seok TA. I had an interview with my friends to him. He is very nice and talked us a lot of information.

This is the picture of me with my swimming team members from when i was 5.
One with blue shirt and one with gray shirt beside the yellow shirt at the edge they are my younger brothers. And 2 girls at the middle of the front roll they are my friends younger sisters.

             These pictures will be my best memories in GLPS. Now there is only 6 more days left and I want to take as many photos as I can and remember them as my best memory. I'll never forget GLPS 20 camp.

        Dear, Mom and Dad

         Hi, mom and dad it's me uni. I'm writing this letter to you because I believe that you will let me swim when we come back to Korea from Saudi Arabia. Many experts like my swimming teacher, for example had agreed with me. I'll explain reasons for this and give facts to support my opinion.

         The first reason is because it's good for my diet and health. There is a statics to show this is true. According to picture of me the 1st one, last year before my summer vacation and after the summer vacation which is also end of my diet program. 

       The second reason is because it makes me feel happy and comfortable when I swim. There are facts to show this is true. If you see the picture of me the 2nd one, with my swimming team after the lesson was done.

      The final reason is because it makes you capacity higher. There is data to show this is true. One of the Korean famous swimmer Park Tae Hwan, he had a asthma and started swimming. And he is really healthy and a great swimmer of  Korea.

      As you can see you should let me swim according to my reason about my opinion

A Dream Comes True (Creative Writing)

In 2013,Uri and her best friend who is 2 years older then her Juen Ha, went to New York to study. Uri was in 10th grade ans JunHa was in 12th grade. they went to the house where they borrowed to stay for few years right away after they arrived in the airport. Uri and Juen Ha came to New York to study for their future dreams. Uri wanted to be a fashion designer and Juen Ha wanted to be a Teacher. Uri an Juen Ha's moms were best fiends so they came to study together cause they know each other from long time ago. Uri worked very hard in her new high school thinking about her future. She missed her family so much and cried all day. She could stay because Juen Ha was like her older brother. He has always been like a real older brother to her. After 3 years Uri's English skill improved a lot. Juen Ha went to Yale college where he and even Uri wanted to go. After he went to the college Uri studied very hard to go to Yale college also. 1 year passed and Uri also got in to Yale college. But that didn't change anything about her feelings missing her family. Any way, Uri went in 2nd grade at her college after a year and Juen Ha went to the military.

Movie Review of the "Princess Bride"

 Today I’ll be talking about the movie named “The Princess Bride” The Princess Bride is a movie about a girl name Buttercup and a boy name Wesley’s true love story. The characters in the movie are Buttercup, Wesley, and Prince Humperdinck. They are the main characters. Buttercup and Wesley fall in love when they were teenage while Wesley was a farm boy for Buttercup. But Wesley had to live. Buttercup heard that Wesley was dead after she left. After 5 years from Wesley’s death, Buttercup became princess Buttercup and had to marry with prince Humperdinck even though she didn’t wanted to. One day when Princess Buttercup was horseback riding in the forest, she got kidnapped. When she got kidnapped they took her to the cliff. While the kidnappers Indigo, Fezzick, Vizzini were kidnapping Princess Buttercup, they noticed that someone was following. It was Wesley. Wesley was not dead. So he had come to save Buttercup. But the Prince Humperdinck also came behind so he had taken Princess Buttercup with him and Wesley to and place where the prince had a machine that takes people’s life when Wesley found Buttercup. The Prince Humperdinck got very angry because Princess Buttercup kept saying that “My Wesley will come for me” So the prince Humperdinck got so angry and went to the place where the machines were. He powered up the machine to %0, the highest and killed Wesley. But two kidnappers named Indigo and Fezzick saved him and got Princess Buttercup out of the wedding. This story started from a book that a sick boy’s grandpa reading it to him. I thought that if I could change the ending I can make the grandpa Wesley who got old. I had watch this movie 2 times so I knew the story already. Even Thought I knew the story I enjoyed the movie. I recommend this movie to people at any ages and any people.

My Goals for 30 days in GLPS

          Hi, my name is Uni Lim and I'm in 7th grade. Today I'll be talking about my three goal for 30 days in GLPS. 

          My, 1st goal is to try not to get more than 1 yellow card. The first step to achieving that goal is to try not to speak Korean. And the 2nd step is to try not to break the rules.

          My 2nd goal is to try to get more than 1 green card. The 1st step to achieve this goal is to concentrate in class and answer a lot of questions as much as I can. The 2nd step is to do my homework on time and prepare.

          My last goal is to try not to postpone my homework. The 1st step is to do m homework the day I get it. An the 2nd step is to listen carefully to what the homework is.

Three true things about me.

Three true things about me

            Hi, my name is Uni Lim and I'm in 7th grade. I have 2 younger brothers.  Today I'll be talking about "three thong I know to be true." The three thing in my list is swimming, Saudi Arabia, and Samsung. 

            The first thing is swimming. There can be many stories about the word "swimming." For me, it's my favorite sport, hobby, and is my life. I started swimming at 5 and become a professional swimmer during 4th grade. But I went to Saudi Arabia and it has gotten deleted because the swimmer gets down from the list if they don't compete in the competitions for 1 year. And I didn't compete for 3 years. Swimming is my family's favorite sport, hobby, and life too. The second one is Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is where I live right now. I went there 3 years ago when I was in the 4th grade. Saudi Arabia is really hit but the school is good. The last one is Samsung. Samsung is my favorite company and where my dad works. Most of the electronics at my house are from Samsung. So these are all of my three things i know to be true.
